The Richardson ISD Board of Trustees received a presentation at their October 9 meeting.

She will serve on the Board of Directors of the Mexican American School Boards Association for a two-year term.

The first Principal For A Day event gave individuals a chance to get an up-close look inside our schools and step foot into a day in the life of our school administrators.

Richardson ISD was selected as the only district in the United States to be part of a worldwide global success story of the Apple Learning Coach Program.

Ahead of the Red River Rivalry game, the band will rehearse on Friday, Oct. 10, from 3 to 5 p.m. at Eagle-Mustang Stadium.

Thirty Richardson ISD schools have earned 101 state distinctions in the 2025 Texas Education Agency (TEA) Accountability Ratings. 

Congratulations to Lake Highlands, J.J. Pearce and Richardson High School tennis teams for qualifying for the UIL Championships. All 3 teams will play their Bi-District round this week.

RISD elementary students in grades K-6 may test once per year to determine if they qualify for Gifted/Talented (GT) services.  The referral window opens October 3, 2025 and closes October 17, 2025.
