Congratulations to Kelly Araujo, a senior at Richardson High School, for representing RISD again in 2021. Kelly was recognized last year, as well. #RISDGreatness

RISD students also excelled at this year’s Junior Visual Arts Scholastic Event, sponsored by the Texas Art Education Association.

Nearly all RISD entries received the highest possible rating of four, which indicates excellent. The TAEA jurors then rejudge the art in the Platinum Event, and Richardson ISD received four platinum medals, including one for this Reese’s still life.
