- Medical – Please note that state TRS has again increased premiums for medical plan options this year. While RISD pays for a portion of each employee’s healthcare premiums each month, the new rate increases may result in a monthly premium increase for employees, depending on the plan selected. Log in to Employee Self Service to see 2024-25 premiums by plan.
- The Scott & White HMO Plan is no longer available. If you currently participate in the HMO Plan, you will automatically be enrolled in the most comparable plan, ActiveCare Primary Plus, if you do not make an alternative election during the enrollment period.
- Dental – There are no changes to existing rates or plan designs.
- Vision – Reduced rates and plan design enhancements. There are now two vision plans to choose from – Basic and Enhanced.
- Life and Disability – You can now elect employee life insurance coverage in $10,000 increments between $10,000 and $500,000. All current employee life insurance coverage amounts will be rounded up to the nearest $10,000 if alternate amount is not chosen.
