UPDATE: The RISD board met on May 16 to canvass the results of the election, officially declaring Trustees Eric Eager and Debbie Rentería as the winners. They will be sworn in for a three-year term at the regular monthly meeting of the board on June 8.
According to final unofficial election results from Dallas County, RISD Trustees Eric Eager and Debbie Rentería won re-election.
Rentería received almost 65% of the votes cast in single-member district 3, and Eager received nearly 57% of the votes cast districtwide in the election for at large place 6.
