Family Engagement Symposium – Every Moment Counts

Parent University Richardson ISD

RISD is hosting its second annual family engagement symposium on Saturday, Oct. 28, at Lake Highlands High School. The theme for this year is “Tag, You’re It!”

Dr. Rebecca A. Palacios, author of “Being Your Child’s Most Important Teacher,” will talk to parents about making every moment count. The family session from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. will be in Spanish with translation services available. Childcare and transportation will be provided free with registration.

The employee session will be from 1 to 4 p.m. and presented in English with translation services available.
