Football Playoffs – All Teams Advance!

For the first time in at least four decades, three RISD teams are moving forward in the Texas UIL football playoffs after earning wins in the first round, each becoming Bi-District Champions.

  • Lake Highlands shut out South Grand Prairie on Friday and will play Coppell at Plano’s Clark Stadium on Friday Nov. 22 at 7 p.m. Lake Highlands will be the home team. Stadium, Ticket & Spectator Info (when available).
  • Pearce defeated Arlington HS Friday and move on to play Denton Guyer at Southlake Carroll Stadium on Nov. 22 at 7 p.m. Mustangs will be the visiting team. Stadium, Ticket & Spectator Info (when available).
  • Richardson beat Haltom HS on their home field Friday and advance to face Allen HS this Friday Nov. 22 at McKinney ISD Stadium. RHS will be the home team. Stadium, Ticket & Spectator Info (when available).
