Four RISD Candidates for Presidential Scholars Program

Four RISD seniors have been named candidates for the prestigious 2024 Presidential Scholars Program

  • Isabelle Agarwal – Richardson High School
  • Nicholas Webb – Richardson High School
  • Katherine Dawson – Pearce High School
  • Julian Villamar-Robbins – Lake Highlands High School

Roughly 5,000 seniors from across the country comprise this year’s cohort. Students are selected on the basis of superior academic and artistic achievements, leadership qualities, strong character, and involvement in community and school activities. About 600 semifinalists will be named in April, and the Department of Education will announce the 2024 scholars in May.
