Graduate Profile – Community Survey

RISD community members are invited to participate in this survey to help shape the future of the school district, specifically what a graduate profile should look like and include. The graduate profile will be a document that includes the academic, personal and interpersonal competencies that all RISD students should possess upon graduation. When finished, the document will become a foundation of the district’s upcoming strategic planning process.

The survey consists of 10 questions and closes on April 18. Please click here to complete the survey.

This survey is open to all RISD community members and is separate from the annual parent survey that is also currently open.

Data from this survey will be shared with a design team of RISD community members, parents, staff, and students who will use the data to create a framework for action for the district. This survey includes the option to choose a preferred language.

At its March meeting, the RISD board of trustees voted to partner with engage2learn to facilitate the development of the RISD graduate profile – a document that will become a foundation of the district’s upcoming strategic planning process. engage2learn is helping the district facilitate community summits, create an online survey, and convene focus groups over the next two months as RISD moves to have defined competencies of the graduate profile by the end of the school year.

More than 200 community members attended the two summits on April 4.
