Regina Harris and Rachel McGowan were officially sworn in as RISD Trustees this week at the monthly work session of the board.
Harris is the board president and was unopposed in the May 7 election. McGowan received 51% of the votes in single-member district 5, according to the final official results from Dallas County.

On the heels of significant operating budget reductions, trustees are considering resetting RISD’s teacher salary schedule to attract and retain experienced teachers.
