Internships Students, Businesses Celebrated

RISD students, teachers, and representatives from area businesses and other organizations gathered recently to celebrate the RISD Professional Internship Program (PIP). The 2025 PIP Honors Breakfast highlighted the 166 RISD high school students who completed a professional internship this school year in an area of interest with an industry employer.

The program is an outstanding example of collaboration between RISD and more than 120 business, public and not-for-profit partners to offer valuable experience to students interested in a variety of career fields. Students collectively committed more than 13,000 hours over their 12–week program assignments.

A huge thank you to sponsoring businesses and organizations hosting a professional intern and providing invaluable real-world experiences for district students.
