Lake Highlands, Pearce, RHS Team Tennis Advance to Area Round

Richardson High School, Pearce High School, and Lake Highlands High School finished in a tie for second place in District 7-6A team tennis.  

All three teams won their first-round playoff match to become bi-district champions and advance to the area round of the state team tennis tournament.

Richardson will travel to Plano West High School, the defending 6A state champion, on Thursday, Oct. 13, for the area round, while Pearce will travel to Allen High School on Friday, Oct. 14.

Lake Highlands beat Arlington Martin, which was the No. 1 seed from District 8-6A, and now plays at Coppell High School in the area round on Thursday, Oct. 13.
