LHE Literacy Interventionist is Texas PTA Elementary Teacher of the Year

Veronica Bullard, a literacy interventionist, at Lake Highlands Elementary, has been named the 2023 Texas PTA Elementary Teacher of the Year.

The state PTA said among many nominees, Mrs. Bullard “shined the brightest.” She will be honored during the statewide PTA convention in Dallas and join the Talk of Texas lunch on July 22.

“We are so proud of Veronica and can’t wait to celebrate her at LAUNCH,” RISD Council of PTAs President Sarah Barker said.
