Lead Well Student Summit

lead well student leadership summit

The Lead Well student leadership program will enhance leadership skills and provide valuable opportunities for RISD high school students to connect with other student leaders from each RISD high school. The goal of this new initiative is to give more students, leadership development opportunities so they flourish as servant leaders for the peer group.

In an effort to nurture and empower the development of RISD high schoolers, about 100 students have been identified by campus administrators for being positive ambassadors. The students engaged in four leadership sessions this school year and did an in-depth study of their unique talents using Clifton Strengths for Students as their guide.

The fourth and final Lead Well session was held April 1. RISD Superintendent Tabitha Branum thanked students for their commitment to serve in leadership roles at their campus.

Stephen Mackey once again was the speaker, and he connected with students on leading through hard times and servant leadership.  #RISDBelieves #RISDWeAreOne
