LHHS Coach Lonnie Jordan Named Finalist For Landry Award

Lake Highlands High School’s Lonnie Jordan has been named one of six finalists for The Landry Award Coach of the Year. LHHS went 10-1 in 2020 and finished atop District 7-6A.

The Landry Awards were created in 2010 by CBS 11 and TEXAS 21 in partnership with the Greater Dallas Fort Worth Fellowship of Christian Athletes. The 2020 Landry Awards are presented by Woodbridge Home Exteriors.

The Coach of the Year award is presented to the North Texas high school head football coach who exemplifies the values that defined former Dallas Cowboys coach Tom Landry on and off the field.
