RISD is aware of Sunday’s state supreme court ruling that temporarily stayed the appellate court ruling that had prevented enforcement of the governor’s GA-38 order that prohibits public entities like counties and school districts from mandating masks.
RISD is reviewing the state’s ruling and Dr. Stone plans to update parents and staff Monday afternoon. RISD’s first day of classes is Tuesday, August 17.
Pearce HS Softball is the District Champion with an undefeated record in district play. Richardson HS and Berkner HS are also headed to the UIL Playoffs.
