National Custodian Appreciation Day

Saturday, Oct. 2, is National Custodian Appreciation Day.

Custodians nationwide have always worked hard to clean and sanitize schools, but during the pandemic their work has become even more important and even more laborious with all the expanded health and safety protocols. Yet, their dedication has remained. RISD has been able to offer in-person school during the pandemic and that is directly correlated to the work of the nearly 400 custodians in the district.

Click here to see how Vernon King gets the Administration Building up and running each day, and please take some time next week to celebrate the RISD custodians at your campus or building. #RISDGreatness
