RHS One Act Play Advances to Regionals

The Theatre Collective at RHS

Congratulations to the cast and crew of “The Love For Three Oranges” who advance to the regional round of the UIL one act play competition.

The production by The Theatre Collective at Richardson High School is directed by Emily Whitman and tech directed by Alexis Suggitt. Ryan Moore and Warren Mullinnix were named to the all star cast and Kennedy Gipson was named an all star tech for the area round.

This is the first time in 25 years that Richardson High School has advanced this far in the state competition.

The regional contest is scheduled for Saturday, April 23, at UT-Arlington in the fine arts building. The contest begins at 2 p.m., RHS performs about 7 p.m., and awards will be presented about at 8:45. Admission is $10 for all theater patrons. No late admissions and no recording devices or cell phone usage of any kind.
