The first virtual Classroom Academy lesson for the 2022-23 school year is Tuesday, Sept. 13, from 6 to 7 p.m. and will focus on ways to improve literacy in young students.

Parent University will be providing these literacy demonstration lessons monthly, and they are designed to equip parents to help support, enrich, and extend their child’s early literacy skills.

This first virtual Classroom Academy is open to all parents of RISD students in kindergarten, first and second grade. This dynamic K-2 literacy initiative is designed especially to help parents support Little Learners develop and enhance early literacy skills.
