Parent University – Family Engagement Conference

Parents are invited to join RISD at a districtwide family engagement parent conference at RISD Academy on Saturday, Sept. 24, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. The free event includes breakfast and lunch, and there will be several prize drawings. The RISD Family Engagement team will lead discussions about family communication, financial literacy, health and wellbeing, and education and technology.

This conference will be in Spanish with English translation available. Esta conferencia será en español con traducción en ingles disponible.

The blind Berkner High School sophomore uses her experience, a sharp sense of rhythm and support from her teammates to perform with the Bandoleras drill team and Folklórico team. For Mora, the joy of dance is worth overcoming every challenge.
