Parents! Join us for “Understanding Autism: Visuals, Tools, and Future Planning” on February 19th at 6:00 p.m. This Parent University session is designed to help families navigate 6 visuals and tools, and provide an introduction to future planning options.

Understand 3 foundational visuals used for students with autism: visual schedules, first-then, and choice boards.

  • Understand 3 foundational tools used for students with autism: sensory tools, communication and social tools, and safety tools.
  • Future Planning Introduction: Understand what Transition Services are and when to begin gathering knowledge of potential resources. Know how to support your student throughout this process.
