ParentSquare, a new mass communication platform coming to RISD beginning in 2026-2027

View Story on RISD new communication tool Parent Square

Starting in the 2026–2027 school year, Richardson ISD is streamlining how we connect with families by transitioning to ParentSquare, our new all-in-one mass communication platform. This change will replace several existing tools—including Finalsite messages, TalkingPoints, and Smore newsletters—bringing district, school, and classroom updates into one centralized feed. Whether you prefer email, text, phone calls, or app notifications, ParentSquare ensures you receive important alerts and event reminders in your preferred language and format.

No action is required from parents at this time; look for detailed login instructions and setup guides to arrive this August before the first day of school.
