RISD honors Patriot Day by taking a moment to remember the tragic events of Sept. 11, 2001, and vowing to never forget those who lost their lives.
The state of Texas also recognizes and honors the bravery, courage, and determination of the men and women who assist others in emergencies by designating Sept. 11 as Texas First Responders Day.
Pearce HS Softball is the District Champion with an undefeated record in district play. Richardson HS and Berkner HS are also headed to the UIL Playoffs.
