Patti Kieker Servant Leader Award – Nominations Now Open

Patti Kieker served the Richardson Independent School District in numerous roles for more than 40 years. We honor Mrs. Kieker’s legacy of service to the Richardson Independent School District with the 9th annual Patti Kieker Servant Leader Award. The purpose of this award is to recognize an exemplary central level employee who exemplifies servant leadership.

Eligibility: 

  • Nominee must have completed at least one (1) year of service in a central (non-campus) leadership position
    • Superintendent’s Cabinet members are not eligible
  • Nominee must not be a prior winner of the Patti Kieker Servant Leader Award

Process:

  • Nomination window: March 2nd – March 13th
  • Superintendent’s Cabinet will review nominations and select one winner  
  • Any RISD staff member, student, parent, or community member can nominate
  • Nomination must include specific examples of service, support, guidance, leadership and mentoring on the part of the nominee
    • Self-nominations are not allowed 

Award – Recipient will receive: 

  • Engraved trophy honoring achievement
  • $1000 personal award on behalf of Patti Kieker through the Richardson ISD Foundation
  • Recognition at the RISD Awards Banquet
