The P-51 Mustangs competed in the world championship in Houston after winning the 2022 FIRST Robotics state championship in April.

The RISD Dyslexia Training Center has been formally accredited by both the International Multisensory Structured Language Education Council (IMSLEC) and The International Dyslexia Association (IDA) – one of just five ISDs in Texas and the country.
RISD provides students and parents or guardians the opportunity to purchase insurance for Chromebooks owned by the school district and assigned to a student for use at school and home.
RISD has $25 million left to issue from the voter-approved Bond 2021.
