Inaugural Parent Seminar

The Richardson ISD refugee services program held its inaugural parent seminar to support families as they adjust to life in America and adapt to being part of the RISD community.

The seminar covered topics such as health resources, academic support for students at home, educational opportunities for parents and guardians, emergency services information, and access to nutrition resources. Language support services provided during the event included interpretation in eight languages.

Through these initiatives, the RSP continues to foster a welcoming and inclusive environment for all families in the RISD community. #RISDBelieves #RISDWeAreOne
