Register to Vote by Oct. 10 for November Election

Voting is one of the most important rights maintained as American citizens. It is an opportunity that past and present generations have fought to preserve. Exercising that privilege is a guaranteed way to ensure your voice is heard in governmental matters. 

There are 14 proposed amendments to the Texas Constitution on the Nov. 7 ballot.  Click here for more information on the November election.

The deadline to register to vote in November is Tuesday, Oct. 10. Dallas County is hosting drive-thru voter registrations Saturday, Oct. 7, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Tuesday, Oct. 10, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Early voting starts Monday, Oct. 23, and Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 7.

Nov. 6 and Nov. 7 are student holidays and staff development days in RISD.
