RHS Junior Earns Perfect ACT Score

ACT

Richardson High School’s Lilliana Myers earned a perfect score on the ACT, which is achieved by less than 0.25% of students in the nation who took the test.

Nearly 1.4 million juniors have taken the ACT this school year, and only about 2,600 scored a perfect 36 in each of the four sections.

“Earning a top score on the ACT is a remarkable achievement,” ACT CEO Janet Godwin said. “A student’s exceptional score of 36 will provide any college or university with ample evidence of their readiness for the academic rigors that lie ahead.”

The ACT is a curriculum-based achievement exam that measures what students have learned in school. Students who earn a 36 composite score have likely mastered all of the skills and knowledge they will need to succeed in first-year college courses in the core subject areas.

RISD had a few other students achieve a near-perfect composite score, falling just shy in one of the four sections. Congratulations to RHS juniors Ada Barton and Saadiq Akhtar, and Connor Reed of Lake Highlands.
