The Richardson Mayor’s Summer Internship Program helps RISD students gain invaluable hands-on experience with local businesses, nonprofits and government entities.

The RISD Dyslexia Training Center has been formally accredited by both the International Multisensory Structured Language Education Council (IMSLEC) and The International Dyslexia Association (IDA) – one of just five ISDs in Texas and the country.
RISD provides students and parents or guardians the opportunity to purchase insurance for Chromebooks owned by the school district and assigned to a student for use at school and home.
RISD has $25 million left to issue from the voter-approved Bond 2021.
