Congratulations to all four RISD Volleyball teams for finishing in the top four spots in District 7-6A and advancing to the UIL Volleyball State Playoffs. Lake Highlands and Pearce tied for the District Championship while Richardson and Berkner tied for third place.
Lake Highlands defeated South Grand Prairie in the first round and will play Allen on Friday, Nov. 8 at 6:30 p.m. at Highland Park HS
Pearce defeated Arlington Lamar in the first round and will play Hebron on Thursday, Nov. 7 at 6:30 p.m. at The Colony HS.
Berkner and Richardson concluded their seasons in the first round of the playoffs – congratulations on great seasons!
