Thank you, Richardson ISD voters for approving all three Propositions on the district’s $1.4 billion bond package, during the November 4, 2025 election.
The three propositions include funds designed to address projects across the district as prioritized by the Bond Steering Committee:
- Prop A: Construction and Instructional Materials – approved by 63.88 % of voters.
Includes construction and renovations at six Middle Schools, CTE Center and Environmental Center. Learn more about Prop A. - Prop B: Technology Devices- approved by 64.68 % of voters.
Includes planned replacement of devices for students, staff, CTE labs, and library and media centers. Learn more about Prop B. - Prop C: Stadium Upgrades- approved by 52.83 % of voters.
Includes ADA upgrades, lighting, and turf replacement at RISD’s two largest stadiums. Learn more about Prop C.
More than 32,000 RISD voters participated in the election, per unofficial results.
“Thank you, Richardson ISD voters, the overwhelming approval of all three Bond Propositions is a profound statement of support for our students, our staff, and the future of public education in RISD,” said Superintendent Tabitha Branum. “This historic $1.4 billion investment will allow us to immediately move forward with critical projects, including the completion of our middle school transformation and the building of a state-of-the-art CTE Center. This is about providing the modern, equitable facilities and programs our 36,000 students deserve.”

We are now committed to serving as responsible stewards of these funds, ensuring that each project—from new devices and library updates to ADA-accessible stadiums—is completed efficiently, effectively, and transparently.”
