UPDATE: Richardson completed a sweep of Grand Prairie to become bi-district champion and advance to the area round. 

The Eagles will play Flower Mound High School in a three-game series starting Thursday, May 4, at 7 p.m. at Carrollton’s R.L. Turner High School.  Game 2 is scheduled to be played Friday, May 6, at Hebron High School at 7 p.m. If necessary, Game 3 would be played at RL Turner on Saturday at 1 p.m.

Richardson High School completed an undefeated season in District 7-6A after beating Highland Park last week. The Eagles had already clinched the district championship.

RHS advances to the bi-district round of the state playoffs to face Grand Prairie High School. Game 1 is Thursday, April 27, at Grand Prairie at 6:30 p.m. Game 2 is Friday at Dover Elementary at 6:30 p.m. If necessary, Game 3 would be Saturday at Dover at 1 p.m.

Lake Highlands High School finished fourth in District 7-6A to also qualify for the softball playoffs. The Wildcats will face South Grand Prairie HS in the bi-district round in a one-game playoff at South Grand Prairie at 6 p.m. on Friday, April 28.
