TMEA All State Musicians

Texas Music Educators Association

RISD Fine Arts proudly announces the selection of 11 students to the All State band or choir. These students were selected through a rigorous statewide audition process and will participate in the Texas Music Educators Association convention in San Antonio in February. Musicians in the All State band, choir and orchestra are considered to be in the top 0.5% of all student musicians in Texas.

“These students began this journey with their teachers back in July and have worked tirelessly for more than five months to hone their skills to a level most of us will never understand,” said Jeff Bradford, RISD Executive Director of Fine Arts. “Please join me in celebrating these hard working musicians, guided by some of the very best music educators in the state.”

This is Audrey Pottkotter’s third time as a member of All State choir, and Lili Bannister is also a three-time member of the All State choir!

Congratulations to these RISD rock star musicians. #RISDBelieves
