The Richardson ISD Board of Trustees welcomed its newest members during an official swearing-in ceremony at the June 4 meeting. Trustees recognized the re-election of Eric Eager to At-Large Place 6 and welcomed Nazlee Burney, who was elected to represent District 3.
Following the ceremony, the Board reorganized and elected officers to serve during the 2026–27 school year. The newly selected officers are:
- Chris Poteet, President
- Rachel McGowan, Vice President
- Vanessa Pacheco, Secretary
- TASB Delegate – Eric Eager
- TASB Delegate Alternate – Megan Timme
June 4 was the final regular meeting of the 2025-26 school year. The first meeting for the 2026-27 school year will be held on Thursday, August 6.
