After being re-elected to terms on the RISD Board of Trustees in May, both Debbie Rentería and Eric Eager were sworn in to three-year terms at the June 8 meeting. Rentería represents Single Member District 3, and Eager represents At-Large Place 6.
In addition, trustees voted to reorganize for the 2023-24 school year, as follows:

Richardson ISD is excited to introduce a new initiative designed to support student learning at home and help families turn everyday conversations into opportunities for learning.
Due to the continued record heat forecasted for this week, we will be moving several home sub-varsity games and home varsity games on Thursday and Friday, September 10-11, to a later start time. Games not listed are keeping their original times.
