After being re-elected to terms on the RISD Board of Trustees in May, both Debbie Rentería and Eric Eager were sworn in to three-year terms at the June 8 meeting. Rentería represents Single Member District 3, and Eager represents At-Large Place 6.
In addition, trustees voted to reorganize for the 2023-24 school year, as follows:

As several RISD campus principals transition into new roles in the district or retire, the district has made several new campus principal assignments beginning in 2026-2027.

With three scholarships in hand to attend her dream school, she’s preparing for a future in medicine driven by her desire to help others.
