RISD welcomed about 1,000 students back to school this week via the virtual classroom option.
The temporary learning environment will allow teachers to connect with students for at-home learning utilizing Richardson ISD instructional technology resources in kindergarten through sixth grade.
The Virtual Classroom Option is a temporary choice available for elementary students through the first nine weeks of school. RISD will evaluate whether it will be offered in the second grading and communicate to VCO parents in early October.
