Summer Reading 2021

Summer Reading logo

The RISD Library and Information Technology staff encourages all RISD students from Pre-K through grade 12 to continue reading books of interest during the summer.

Click here to view the RISD summer reading website for challenges for all levels (including adults), information on book access, and more. Here is some summer reading information for elementary readers and secondary readers.

As a district focused on building a culture of reading, RISD encourages all parents, staff, and stakeholders to join students in actively reading and discussing books. Although there is not a specific list of titles that must be read for any grade level or class, students may obtain lists of grade-level reading materials by visiting the summer reading website.
