The Richardson Area Association of Black School Educators (RAABSE), an affiliate of both the Texas and National Alliances of Black School Educators, continues to make a lasting impact in the Richardson community through its commitment to service, leadership, and educational excellence.
Dedicated to both personal and professional development, RAABSE brings together African American educators, supporters, and community members who are passionate about strengthening opportunities for students. The organization works to establish a strong coalition of educators, create a forum for sharing innovative ideas and strategies, identify and develop future leaders in education, and influence public policy affecting all students.
Through collaboration and a compelling spirit of giving back, RAABSE remains focused on empowering the next generation.

RAABSE’s impact is amplified through its strong partnership with the Texas Alliance of Black School Educators (TABSE), which ensures the voices, leadership, and accomplishments of Richardson educators are represented at the state level. This collaboration creates a meaningful connection between local service and statewide influence, opening doors for professional development, advocacy, and increased opportunities for student success.
Richardson ISD is especially proud to have TABSE State President DarWIN P. Spiller as the district’s Executive Director of Title IX Investigations and Compliance, further strengthening a shared commitment to excellence, unity, and the advancement of all students across Texas.
