Are You Ready for the Season?

As fall athletics seasons get underway, here are some important reminders for everyone planning to attend a game or match in RISD:

  • Positive behavior and respectful treatment of participants, coaches, referees and fellow spectators is expected at all athletic events.
  • RISD venues enforce a clear bag policy and prohibit weapons, alcohol, tobacco, and other items. Plan ahead to avoid a trip back to the car.
  • RISD Safety & Security periodically uses metal detectors at entrances as a deterrent against prohibited items.
  • Uniformed Dallas or Richardson police officers and/or RISD Safety & Security staff are assigned to events at high school stadiums and gyms.
  • Tickets for high school and junior high athletics events are available online here.
  • Masks are encouraged and optional inside all RISD schools and facilities (when COVID community levels are high, masks are strongly encouraged while indoors).
