During the Sept. 18 Board Meeting, RISD Trustees adopted the 2025 – 2026 property tax rate at $1.1052 per $100 of taxable value, which is the same tax rate as  last year. 

A total of 286 high school juniors and seniors have earned College Board National Recognition Awards for their exceptional academic achievement. This year’s RISD award recipients represent a significant increase from last year’s 90+ students who earned this recognition. The College Board National Recognition Program awards academic honors to high-performing students, helping them stand out
