The district has an annual continuous improvement process that is aligned with the North Star Goal, Graduate Profile and Strategic Plan. As the district moves into the second year of implementing the strategic plan, identified priorities include:

  • Goal setting to support growth goals
  • Culture of trust and respect that promotes recruitment and retention efforts
  • Continued implementation of the learning framework and creation of a professional learning system to support growth
  • Increased engagement with RISD residents
  • Advocate for additional funding with state

The district and campus improvement plans include specific strategies to support these outlined priorities and will be presented to the board this fall.
