How to Sign-up for RISD Bus Transportation

school buses

Visit the RISD transportation page and click on the “Sign Up For Bus Transportation” tab to complete the online bus enrollment request form to determine if your child qualifies for bus transportation. Starting September 23, students who are not registered for bus transportation may not be able to board buses until they are registered.

Please note that the RISD transportation department provides bus service from the bus stop to campus for students who live more than two miles away from their home campus.

Students who live within two miles are not eligible for bus transportation per state guidelines.

Special education students may qualify for door-to-campus bus service, but that qualification process is initiated by special education staff at the student’s school.

If your child qualifies for bus transportation service, a note will be sent to the parent or guardian email address on file that will include specific bus route information for the 2024-2025 school year.

If you have questions related to this message or student transportation, please contact RISD Transportation at 469-593-5900 or message student.transportation@risd.org.

We look forward to serving your students in the 2024-25 school year.
