RISD is aware of Sunday’s state supreme court ruling that temporarily stayed

As a district focused on building a culture of reading, RISD encourages all parents, staff, and stakeholders to join students in actively reading and discussing books.

The first day of school is Tuesday, Aug. 17, and Dr. Stone’s No. 1 priority remains the safety of all RISD students, staff and community members.
