Richardson Reads Day

RISD Reading and Language Arts logo

Friday is Richardson Reads Day, a collaborative effort across RISD Libraries, Reading Language Arts and the Literacy and Intervention departments. All teachers are encouraged to allow students 20 minutes to read a book of their choosing.

RISD is cultivating a literacy-rich foundation for all students rooted in reading through ongoing targeted individualized intervention and enrichment plans for all students.

Join the district in promoting reading with your students. Snap a picture with a book and add the hashtag #RISDREADS21 to get the RISD Twitterverse buzzing! Bonus if you tag @RLAinRISD @LibrariesinRISD @RISDLitandInt in the spirit of collaborative, and feel free add #RISDGreatness just because.
