Schools Closed Wednesday February 1

no school wednesday February 1

Richardson ISD schools and offices will be closed on Wednesday, Feb. 1, due to the ongoing inclement weather and hazardous travel conditions. Closure includes all games, activities, and events for Feb. 1, including xPlore after-school programs.

A decision and message regarding school on Thursday will be made after evaluating campus and travel conditions overnight Wednesday. RISD stakeholders can stay informed by monitoring RISD.org and district social media accounts. Any closure decision will be shared on those platforms and also sent directly to parents, staff, and students, along with news media outlets.

Snow make-up day information will be shared in early spring once all 2022-23 snow days are known.
