Welcome to the RISD Board of Trustees Meeting June 2026

At the June 4 Board meeting, RISD leadership shared an update showing exceptional student academic growth during the 2025-2026 school year. The Board also adopted the 2026-27 budget reflecting continued commitment to supporting RISD employees, protecting critical student services, and finding the operational efficiencies necessary to meet the long-term needs of the entire RISD community.

  • Dallas County Promise 2024–2025 Economic Mobility Award
    • District Level: Texas Success Initiative/TSI by Assessment – $2,000
    • High School Level: 
      Berkner HS – Texas Success Initiative by Assessment – $1,500
      Lake Highlands HS – Texas Success Initiative by Assessment – $1,500
      Richardson HS – Texas Success Initiative by Assessment and College Enrollment Awards – $3,000
