  • Congrats to LHHS Coach Lonnie Jordan on being a finalist for The Landry Award.
  • RISD employees have worked to become aware about their heart health while rasing about $30,000 for the American Heart Association’s Go Red campaign.
  • February is a busy month, next week is Counselor Appreciation Week so please be sure to thank your campus counselor.
  • Black History Month starts next week, and all RISD campuses will engage in activities – some student-led – celebrating Black history all month. 
  • February is also Career & Technical Education Month, and RISD will participate in various dress days to come together and show campus spirit.
  • Please continue to wear masks and observe health protocols as COVID cases in Dallas County and RISD remain prevalent. Be well, stay safe and help us keep the virus out of our schools.
