Bond 2025 Overview

On November 4, 2025, Richardson ISD voters approved a $1.4 billion bond package aimed at transforming our learning environments. This investment represents our collective commitment to providing every student with modern, safe, and equitable facilities.

We are dedicated to being responsible stewards of these funds. This site serves as a real-time resource for project updates, budget tracking, and milestones as we move from design to dedication.
Bond 2025 Propositions

Understanding the Propositions

Proposition A

Construction & Infrastructure: Middle school transformations, the new state-of-the-art CTE Center, and district-wide lifecycle repairs (HVAC, roofs, plumbing) - $1,338,600,000

Proposition B

Technology: Refreshing student and staff devices, upgrading library media centers, and enhancing CTE labs. - $54,000,000

Proposition C

Stadium Upgrades: ADA accessibility improvements, energy-efficient lighting, and turf replacement at Eagle-Mustang and Ram-Wildcat stadiums. - $7,400,000

The Middle School Transformation

We are entering the final phase of shifting to a 6-8 grade middle school model. Six junior highs are currently in the Design & City Review phase:
  • Campuses: Apollo, Liberty, North, Parkhill, West, and Westwood.
  • Current Status: Finalizing design documents (Spring 2026).
  • What’s Next: Groundbreaking is scheduled for June 2026, with a projected completion of Fall 2028.

New Career & Technical Education (CTE) Center

With an $86M allocation, the new CTE Center will serve as a hub for high-demand career pathways, including Veterinary Medicine, Cosmetology, and Engineering.
  • Status: Design work to begin during the 2026-27 school year.

Other Bond 2025 Projects

The Middle School Transformation is the priority project for the first two years of the Bond 2025 Program (2026-2028). Additional projects included as part of Bond 2025, including specific campus upgrades and restroom renovations will occur during Years 3-5 of Bond 2025.
