North Texas Crime Stoppers

North Texas Crime Stoppers

Beginning with the 2023-23 school year, RISD will be using a new service to anonymously report incidents of crime on district facilities. Tips can be submitted by an app or website or phone call.

North Texas Crime Stoppers allows students, staff, and community members to report incidents of abuse, bullying, drugs, e-cigarettes, eating disorders, harassment, self-harm, suicide threats, theft, vandalism, weapons and any other thing that makes students or staff feel unsafe.

Every RISD campus website will have a Crime Stoppers icon on its homepage for anyone in the RISD community to anonymously provide information that will be shared with RISD Safety & Security, which will take appropriate action as needed.

The North Texas Crime Stoppers service is free to use and also comes at no cost to RISD. If a tip leads to an arrest or disciplinary action, the tipster may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000. Tips can be submitted via a phone call to Crime Stoppers at 877-373-8477.
