The Dallas City Council recently adopted the 2033 Dallas housing policy, a 10-year plan focused on advancing racial equity, according to the city. The policy comprises seven pillars, including equity strategy target areas, citywide production, preservation, infrastructure, collaboration, engagement, and education, according to the City of Dallas.

The program includes a homebuyer assistance program for educators that provides up to $50,000 in support for educators earning less than 120% of the area median income.
