RISD Celebrates Asian American Pacific Islander Month with a full slate of activities.
This month’s Courageous Conversation is “In Their Own Words: The Diverse Perspective of Being Asian in America.” A summer districtwide challenge is to visit DFW Chinatown in Richardson. The video series will explore “The Power of Story: The Value of Visibility.”
The RISD Dyslexia Training Center has been formally accredited by both the International Multisensory Structured Language Education Council (IMSLEC) and The International Dyslexia Association (IDA) – one of just five ISDs in Texas and the country.
RISD provides students and parents or guardians the opportunity to purchase insurance for Chromebooks owned by the school district and assigned to a student for use at school and home.
RISD has $25 million left to issue from the voter-approved Bond 2021.
